For whatever reason, I never tweeted about when I defended my dissertation or got either of my post-PhD jobs. I think I struggle with sharing good news? So it's with a ton of joy that I share that as of 7/1, I will be tenured and promoted to Associate Professor!!!

Just submitted grades for the last class I'll teach for a year. Don't get me wrong, I adore my students and teaching is what really keeps me in academia - it brings me so much joy. But it's hard to be engaged and empathetic and timely and all that!! And I'm tired 😴😴😴

Sabbatical hasn't officially started yet, but I went to the grocery store in voluminous, flowy overalls and crocs in the middle of a Tuesday, so I have high hopes.
