MUST WATCH:
Former US special forces lieutenant-colonel tells the BBC that he has never in his entire career "witnessed the level of brutality and use of indiscriminate and unnecessary force against a civilian population, an unarmed, starving population. I've never witnessed that in all of the places I've been deployed to war, until I was in Gaza, at the hands of the IDF and US contractors."
In an unedited version, he points out that he fought the Taliban and ISIS, but the brutality he saw at the hands of the IDF was worse.
@TheCinesthetic One of so many, Tony Leung in “Happy Together”. For a straight man to so accurately embody gay heartbreak, is extraordinary. And yes, gay heartbreak looks and feels different when the struggle has to be socially so internalized. Especially during the time of the film. 😢
@DatLe@kacystandohar I see your point but, with movements like Me Too, and BLM, as an example, we can now hold people and institutions accountable. So yes, he definitely deserves an apology. Case in point https://t.co/FbZnSRmC79
Gurl! You have done it again. Constantly raising the bar for us all, and doing it flawlessly. I'd say I'm surprised, but I know who you are. I've seen it up close and personal. Gurl, you make me so proud. And I love you. #FionaApple#FetchTheBoltCutters
