Some good news!

After decades away, over 400 Rwandan refugees have voluntarily returned home from the DR Congo, joining almost 8,400 people who have returned since January 2025.

For families returning home, it’s a fresh start and renewed hope for the future.

The annual sporting event brought together 725 athletes from all refugee camps across #Rwanda, celebrating the power of sport to unite communities, nurture talent, and inspire hope.

This year’s Inter-Camp Tournament has come to an end in Mahama Refugee Camp after days of great games, with refugee players showcasing their talents, having fun & making new connections.
