Hadith 387: Ibn ʿAbbās (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that "the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed Zuhr and ʿAsr together, and Maghrib and Isha together, without any state of fear or travel."
Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi explained:
“Some people misunderstand this hadith and think it means you can combine prayers without a valid reason; but it does not.
One of the narrators of the hadīth, Abū al-Shaʿthāʾ [أبو الشعثاء] explained that it was not a real combination though it appeared so. In reality, the Prophet ﷺ prayed Zuhr just before the end of its time, then prayed Asr at the very beginning of its time; and likewise with Maghrib and Isha, which is called “apparent combining," [الجمع الصوري]. Another explanation offered in a conversation between him and Ayyūb is that it was during severely bad weather, as in Sahih al-Bukhari and Muslim.
This is why none of the four Imams agreed on combining prayers without a valid reason such as travelling, or bad weather.”
Islam teaches us to seek forgiveness for sins, especially those committed against other people. On the Day of Judgment, people will seek their rights. Allah forgives sins, except those committed against others—those must be rectified. If you’ve slandered someone, seek forgiveness, give charity on their behalf, or make du’a for them. This is how you can repay them.
Our love for the Prophet ﷺ can be strengthened when we reflect on his wisdom and the many favours he has done for humanity. The Prophet ﷺ intercedes on our behalf, and the prayers we send to him are returned to us in greater measure. His mercy ensures that we are not punished for every sin immediately, unlike in the time of Prophet Musa (upon him be peace).
You should see change every time you come to the Masjid to pray. If you do not return from the Mosque a different person, you have not practiced prayer. If you do not feel the change, the progress with every prayer, you should sit and lament your heedlessness

You have a Lord who forgives your sins. This is the beauty about tawbah. Coming back to Allah. First of all, you recognise and admit that you did something wrong. This is a great virtue. We do not justify our sins. We admit we did something wrong, and then we come back to the One who is Oft Forgiving. We have a Lord who is Merciful and with your repentance He loves you more and more. The more you do tawbah, the more Allah loves you. But it is upon you also to notice your sins. If you are not aware of your sins, you won't be able to do tawbah.
Allah indeed loves people of purification. Allah loves those people who repent, because although they deviate, although they forget, they come back to Him. Do not lose hope and say ‘there are no hopes with me to repent to Allah’, or ‘This is my destiny.’ No, your destiny is in your hand now, because it is hidden from you, you must have courage and do tawbah again.
If you persist in the sin, have courage to do tawbah again. With each tawbah, you need to believe this is the last time you're doing this sin – we never lose hope in Allah’s Mercy
The secret of blessings in your Rizq is tied to being good to your parents and family. Do not save your anger and your evil qualities for when you come home hidden from the world. Start at home. It is one of the most beautiful acts of worship
Sometimes it can be that the dua of the oppressed is not answered because the one who has been oppressed has gone and bad mouthed the oppressor, so by doing that there remains no difference between them both - they are now equal. The wrath of Allah is much more than your wrath so do not take revenge when someone has hurt or wronged you.
Leave that to Allah!
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ is fully aware of all that may arise on your journey to Allah, and he has provided guidance, remedies, and instructions for all of us until the end of time, ensuring that we reach our destination safely
Consult God in every matter of yours. You receive an invitation to attend somewhere, pray two rakah and ask Allah. He will not deceive you. The first thought is from God. Take it. Don’t let the second thought deceive you which is from Satan.

Imam Kisa’i was asked what was the main act of worship you did in your life through which you hope to attain salvation from your Lord? He said I stood as a doorman at the door to my heart. I did not let anything other than Allah enter it.

Zuhd is misunderstood. It is not about abandoning jobs or wealth in their literal sense. It is about removing these things from our hearts and making our hearts only for Allah.
