The Virgin Mary gave an exemplar even of the internal life. Few reflect on the noteworthy comments found twice in St. Luke’s gospel. We are told that she “kept these things in heart” (Lk 2:19;51) Let us imitate her in always keeping the mysteries ever “in our hearts to ponder.”
