Yesterday Thursday May 6 we enjoyed our diamond wedding anniversary. All began with a big surprise. Our two daughters Beverly and Sheryl arrived and set up a wonderful luncheon for us and other members of our family.

My most regular dx contact mainly on 20metres since the 1960s has been Charlie K6HTM in Chico California USA. Because of very poor band conditions our contacts for far too long have been few and far between. Charlie told me by email recently that he is still listening on 20metres
I contacted King Hussein back in the 1950's when I was ZL3VI in Timaru New Zealand. My ham equipment was all home made, back in the days when we at the out-posts, either made it or missed out.Not so with the King.
