Chance meeting with Rory and Lindsay in the exit row on a flight to Atlanta. I had the privilege of serving as their Principal some 25 years ago. So nice to catch up and hear about their lives.
Got to know my new friend Dr Jody Carrington these past two days. Thanks Jody for helping FSD to see more clearly as we look after ourselves and each other.
Such a privilege to attend The Forks press conference where the six winning warming hut designs were introduced. The submission of “Blossom” from our FSD Engaged Learner students in partnership with Grey & Ivy inc is one of the award winners - big shout out to students and staff
Congratulations to Melissa Ferrar, Purvis Cromarty and Josiah Rogge on being recognized by PHE Manitoba for there work in Helen Betty Osbourne school in Norway House. We are privileged to have you as members of the Frontier Family!
This morning I marvelled at all that was still growing. No frost all of Sept and none predicted for the next week. Trying to get the last tomatoes to ripen and have more peppers on the way. Thinking about picking that last watermelon, need to eat the other two first.
Yesterday I was honoured to be asked to speak at the Grand Rapids School Truth and Reconciliation activities and share a moment of silence with staff and students.
Students from the #FrontierSD Engaged Learners Program - learning about Design, Architecture and Sustainability with the team from Grey & Ivy! Stay tuned for some amazing things from these youth. #OCN#EggLake#landbasededucation
