Yesterday some of my colleagues and I learned how to build sweat lodge and it’s teaching on the shore of picturesque Lake Winnipeg. Priceless!

This morning I marvelled at all that was still growing. No frost all of Sept and none predicted for the next week. Trying to get the last tomatoes to ripen and have more peppers on the way. Thinking about picking that last watermelon, need to eat the other two first.

Spending day in Assiniboine Park with Grandkids remembering those Grandchildren and Grandparents who never had that kind of opportunity.

Wonderful meeting yesterday with Grand Rapids Chief and Council at their culture camp followed by lunch. Beautiful spot, did not want to leave.
