@BN_Bellingham I think the author made the right choice in not going for the predicted “happy ending” between Marcos and the woman. It would have blurred way too many lines in morality.

@BN_Bellingham #spoiler- The book seemed to try and gently push this idea that Marcos was a decent person and different from the rest. But the reality is he was a predator the entire time. Him sleeping with the woman was fully rape since she has no concept of the real world.
