REACH students were joined today by students in the Loyola School’s INES Program for a Mass celebrating the Feast of St. Ignatius Loyola. In his homily, Regis President Rev. Christopher Devron, SJ, spoke about how students can live their lives according Ignatius's teachings.

More than 40 members of our community gathered yesterday for our Eastern Long Island Reception. Hosted by Pam and Robin Esterson P’18’21 and their family, the reception provided guests the opportunity to attend Mass together and connect with one another.

A group of Regis students traveled to France earlier this summer on our Paris Exchange Trip. Students visited a range of cultural and religious sites, including Claude Monet’s house and gardens, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Louvre, the Paris Catacombs, and the gardens of Versailles.

We’re excited to be hosting students on 84th Street for the second year of the Regis Summer Institute, a tuition-free summer enrichment program for curious and motivated rising 8th grade Catholic boys. The program offers intensive, two-week courses in engineering and debate.

Fifteen Regians went on an immersion trip to China last month, visiting Shanghai, Hangzhou, Jinhua, Nanjing, and Suzhou. Joined by students from Dominican Academy, the group took part in various cultural and educational experiences.

Earlier today, 131 students traveled to the University of Scranton and 60 candidate students who just completed the fifth grade headed to Fordham University, kicking off our 2026 REACH summer. In three weeks, all will return to New York for three weeks of programming at Regis.

A group of Regis students traveled to Quito, Ecuador, earlier this month for a service immersion trip in partnership with La Fundación Familías Trabajadores, which pursues a holistic approach to family development, reaching out to the poorest segment of Quito’s population.

A group of Regians traveled to Madrid last week as a part of our exchange program with Colegio Nuestra Señora del Pilar. Students enjoyed city walking tours, dance and history classes, a day trip to Toledo, and visits to el Parque del Retiro and el Museo del Prado.

Yesterday evening, members of the Regians of Color affinity group gathered for a reception at Regis. The event gave attendees the chance to socialize and hear updates from Ms. Belkise Dallam, Regis’s Director of Belonging, Dignity, and Justice.

Desmond Augustine ’26, Will Napoli ’26, and George Pace ’26 were part of the five-person New York team that took sixth place in World Schools Debate at the 2026 National Speech & Debate Tournament last week. The tournament is the largest academic competition in the United States.

Members of our community gathered at the Inwood Country Club yesterday for the annual Regis Golf and Tennis Outing. The late-afternoon showers couldn’t dampen the Regis spirit as attendees hit the links and the courts before joining together for dinner.
