.@SenJohnKennedy to judicial nominees: "Don't ever, ever take the position that you're not going to follow the order of a federal court, ever. You can disagree with it, within the bounds of legal ethics, you can criticize it, you can appeal it, or you can resign."
@JohnEDiMaio1@WillSammon Want to know why it's Boras? Funny how Bergman isn't signed either. Pete is being used as leverage for Bergman. So he can say "I got Alonso x amount, you are going to have to pay more for Bergman"
@alan_boyles@WillSammon@DOBrienATL Boras might be used to dealing with a Mets' team that didn't know what they were doing. Surprise, surprise, surprise.
@avjagfan@WillSammon@Ken_Rosenthal He knows the market has changed. But he overplayed his hand because he assumed he was going to stick up the Mets. Pete is going to wind up somewhere else on a somewhat lesser deal. This is about ego now.
@Ostin70290274 @WillSammon@Ken_Rosenthal Alonso is nowhere near the player Soto is. Hell, he isn't Freddie Freeman either. This isn't on Pete, this is on Boras 100%
@dbc1202@KTBigDaddy@WillSammon In a manner of speaking, he bet on himself and is so far losing. Coincidence Berman isn't signed eiter and bot are Boras' clients?
@GodfatherNFBC@SNYtv@Cadillac Just so you know, signing Pete doesn't make them better than the Dodgers either. Here's the thing, if they sign him for whatever he's asking for and last year turns out to be a sign of what's to come, you will probably be the first one to start screaming they overpaid him.
@JoshuaRobert56 The wrong person is in Pete's ear. Not trouble guessing wo that is. As much as I want Pete back, the damage he may be doing may go beyond is contract.
@JDVanceNewsX Their mantra always has been "if you can't win by the rules, you change the rules until you do". They prove time and time again, the will of the American people does not and will not matter to them.
@RSAdiamondtales What did you think was going to happen with Scott Boras? None of this should be surprising. The only thing I blame Pete for is keeping Boras. He's going to wind up signing elsewhere for a semi lesser contract with an opt out clause after one year.
@RGIII@fkerley99 You clearly saw wat you wanted to see. Which unfortunately part of the problem. Then you compound the situation by inaccurately reporting on it. If you worked for me, I would be reviewing what happened and how you reported what happened and you would be looking for another job.
