¿Qué mierda está pasando?
@bruce_arthur Well the fact that Carney is running on a platform that resembles a Harper era conservative platform doesn’t help.
They don’t have many options but “more crazy.”
@stephenfgordon@bruce_arthur Canadians are at a near impossible to sustain personal debt load. Historically high personal debts. Maybe that reality affects their opinion more than how the GDP is going (an overused metric)
@C2_Cooper No no. It didn’t start with OKC. It started with a concerted effort to encourage perimeter players getting points because everyone hated low scoring games (big number = “fun” basketball) It didn’t even start with Silver. OKC has it mastered though.
@C2_Cooper I’d say it’s in there as a three headed monster. Teams and players not taking the regular season seriously (and pod people constantly whining about having to cover 82 games) is up there for me as a pretty lame modern nba culture thing.
@BadSportsRefs Flopping on rebounds is a long running pet peeve of mine. It’s easy because boxing out creates contact and you just sell the contact with a fall. It suuucks!
Is it good for the former Finance Minister (who oversaw tens of billions in aid) to become the Advisor on Economic Development for Ukraine while still being a member of Canadian Parliament? It’s complicated…
@treykerby You do love the beef this is true. It’s what riled me up to comment I guess. Jonas is backing up an MVP and will hopefully keep those “Jokic-less” min to less of a sad spot. Naz is playing behind a defensive minded player whose offence is more needed. It’s a fit issue.
@Sam_Vecenie I will say this. I think the Cult of Ballmer will protect him. He’s always been touted as one of the good billionaires (likely also why also people want him to fall?) and that image is pretty important to a lot of people ideologically.
