IKIRE, OSUN: Naija Confra can now confirm that the k**ling incidents reported in Ikire, Osun State, are not all connected to the same issue. The most recent k**ling was politically motivated, while the other incident reported on May 5 was cult-related. This means that sources who pointed to politics and cultism were all correct. Also, in both cases, the victims were identified as Kolade. (Videos posted on TG)

In the political k**ling reported yesterday by Naija Confra, the victim was named Kolade Eluyera, the son of an Accord Party women leader in Ikire. The Accord Party is the political party of the incumbent Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, and there is an upcoming election in the state. Residents who spoke with Naija Confra accused APC political thugs of being responsible for the attack, with two individuals identified as Eniba and Ojuyobo repeatedly mentioned. Naija Confra urges the police to investigate these names mentioned by residents.

In the cult-related k**ling reported by Naija Confra on Tuesday, May 5, another Kolade was k**led. This Kolade was an Aye (NBM) cultist who was the number 2 man (chief priest) of the group in that area. He was k**led by a rival cult group after being accused of attacking a rival cultist identified as Ban**. At this time, Naija Confra will not mention the name of the rival cult group in order to reduce tension as we push for peace. If the violence continues, we will go into more details. Stay safe.
