The latest version of Rufus allows you to create a Windows 11 installer with quality of life (QoL) improvements.
This stops Windows 11 forcing Microsoft Copilot, OneDrive and Outlook and doesn't enable Fast Startup.
Tipón, Peru sits at 3,500 meters in the Andes. Its stone water channels have been running continuously for over 500 years: no pumps, no electricity, no maintenance crew.
The Incas tapped a natural spring and engineered a gravity-fed system so precise the water still doesn't overflow, stagnate, or waste a drop.
Modern infrastructure can't say the same after 50 years, let alone 500.
There's a startup trying to build data centers in the ocean.
And it's INCREDIBLY fascinating:
Mass consumption of electricity and water is a growing bottleneck for data centers.
So by moving offshore, it eliminates both problems -- the ocean provides unlimited cooling, and the waves provide unlimited power.
There are also no engines, so the data centers drive themselves to their destination by using the shape of their hull to propel through waves.
Called Panthalassa.
@RealXBailey@pronounced_kyle My @subaru_usa came with an app. Hate it, i can check tire pressure on my own. I imagine “free” because they sell my data. The car that I paid for in cash also comes with pop-up adds for @SIRIUSXM in the middle of driving. Super annoying.
@1787Centinel@pnwguerrilla Hahaha 😂 my thoughts exactly. In Iraq we had a bunch of premium non-issued gear that we each brought. You learn the hard way in training.
