Been writing about this at Locke for several years. It also featured in a report I helped write when I served on the NC State Advisory Committee to the US Civil Rights Commission.

“You don’t have to look at the facts and the law.”
Living in one of California's key Sanctuary City, and Sanctuary County, this is everyday reality not fiction:

@MorosKostas I'm glad you mentioned the important additional details:
Pshy exams, and Self Created DoJ reports.
Are you challenging any of those in your lawsuit?
If not, are you willing to explore if there is something exciting ?
@AAGDhillon@CivilRights WHY does anyone need "permission" to exercise an enumerated right. Requiring a "permit" to carry a firearm is akin to requiring a "Free Speech Permit" or a "Religious Worship Permit"
If a permit can be required, then it can be DENIED

@RepKiley The leadership spirit that wins the hearts of the voters:
"We're fighting to protect the will of California voters from the schemes of Sacramento politicians."
California does NOT check if you’re a citizen when you register to vote. It’s based on the honor system. This allows people like this defendant to easily register to vote and participate in our elections. According to @CASOSVote, approx. 400k registered to vote without providing any identification records.
This is the tip of the iceberg. More arrests are coming.
Applied for health insurance. Received a Notice for voter registration. Who knew?

Another day, another major decision about tobacco products. Here, did the FDA err adopting its "comparative efficacy standard" through informal rulemaking? Yes, it's "a substantive rule" and needs notice-and-comment rulemaking, per Judge J.E. Smith. Vacated and remanded
@TheJusticeDept This case arises out of the DC Professional Responsibility Board targeting conservatives like @JeffClarkUS for penalties that, DOJ alleges, are far outside the norm. For example, Mr. Clark is under threat of disbarment for a letter he never even sent. Wild stuff.
"weaponizing and politicizing state bar discipline proceedings against officials in the executive branch undermines core constitutional principles." That "chills federal officials from zealously advocating for the executive branch." @TheJusticeDept fires back at illegal barfare
Can Indiana prohibit "knowingly or intentionally aiding or assisting an unemancipated pregnant minor in obtaining an abortion without first satisfying Indiana’s parental consent and notice requirements"? No per Judge Hamilton. The 2017 law is a First Amendment violation.
