Shocking that 5000 Indians are currently trapped in Cambodia & forced into cyber slavery & online scams against people back home 👇

An article in the @IndianExpress reported yesterday how over 5000 Indians have been lured to Cambodia with the fake promise of jobs.

These 5000 Indians are now trapped in Cambodia and are being forced into doing cyber scams by an organized mafia gang by making fake calls to people in India.

Govt of India itself admits that this specific gang has scammed over ₹500 crores from people in India using the trapped Indians.

It is unfathomable as to why the Modi Govt has done nothing to crack this racket and to bring back these 5000 trapped Indians.

Is our idea of "Vishwaguru" only limited to paid crowds chanting Modi's name on his foreign visits?

Imagine if these were 5000 American or European citizens? Their countries would've turned the earth upside down in rescuing and getting them back from Cambodia.

Meanwhile, the Modi Govt is instead busy with fake propaganda about how "Modi ji stopped the Ukraine War".

It is unacceptable that 5000 Indians are trapped and being held hostage in Cambodia. It is even more serious that they're being used by the mafia to scam crores of rupees from people living in India.

I've urged @DrSJaishankar to take immediate action on this and work with the Cambodian authorities to rescue & bring these 5000 Indians back home urgently.
