Amanda Gorman was the first person to be named National Youth Poet Laureate, not an easy feat.

A Florida school has banned the poem she read at Biden’s inauguration.

Which part caused the “white discomfort?”

Was it because Amanda is a skinny Black girl? You know how racists feel about Black girls.

Was it when she mention being descended from slaves? We know DeSantis says there barely were slaves.

Is it the part where she dared to dream of becoming president? Y’all know how they feel about a Black President. Hell, they are pissed about Kamala.

Maybe because Amanda Gorman’s work focuses on issues of race and oppression, feminism, and marginalization.

Now the poem that Amanda Gorman read at President Biden’s inauguration, entitled “The Hill We Climb,” has been banned from curriculum through 5th grade in Miami-Dade County, for not being suitable for elementary students.

For those who listened to the poem, you would know the the poem was a lecture on peace, love, unity, and freedom.

This is why laws banning critical race theory from schools are a problem. People begin categorizing anything that talks about race as falling into the realm of CRT. Or they use the law to justify removing books and curriculum that can teach real history.

This isn’t free speech. This is using the law to chill the free speech of others, in my opinion.

BREAKING: South Carolina Democrats demand that the state's Republican Gov. Henry McMaster apologize for jaw-droppingly violent remarks made at a recent GOP convention.

Over the weekend, McMaster told an audience that he looks "forward to the day that democrats are so rare, we have to hunt them with dogs.”

The comment was clearly designed to evoke images of Republicans chasing and shooting Democrats dead — a horrifying suggestion during a time when political violence is on the rise. In the south, it's undeniable that his words could be also be construed as a call for lynchings.

Over and over again we see Republican voters taking their fetishized guns and carrying out violent, murderous acts after seeing some deranged conspiracy theory on Fox News or hearing some GOP politician spew hatred.

The Democratic Party in Anderson and Charleston counties have put out a petition on the DNC website calling on the governor to “apologize and retract this racially-tinged dog whistle.”

If he fails to apologize, Democrats want the South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division to “open an investigation into this threat and incitement of political violence.”

The Laptop - This was the pinnacle of their investigation until Hunter turned the tables on them. I’m still trying to figure out what govt job Hunter held that would warrant a congressional investigation.

The Biden Crime Family - After Laptop Gate, they tried to make Joe Biden into supervillain Lex Luther. I never did understand this one. On one hand they calling him Dementia Joe, Slow Joe or Sleepy Joe but then contradict themselves by making him a criminal mastermind. Ultimately they had nothing.

The Durham Report - This report supposedly was going to say that Trump was clear & all the Democrats were guilty of everything from the Jack The Ripper murders to the Mount Vesuvius destruction of Pompeii. Someone should have told them that you need to “read” the report before reporting on what it says. 🤷🏽‍♂️

All this leads now to Hillary Clinton. Yes they’re now opening investigations into Hillary…AGAIN! This won’t be the end of it. I’m sure they’ll soon bring in the descendants of Roman soldiers to tie Democrats to the execution of Jesus & how Trump played a key part in his resurrection!

We can stop this nonsense & get back to governing by simply voting Blue!
