@InspiredByJM @JohnkGK Compared to other international tourneys out there, the WBC is still pretty new (debuted in 2006) so not a lot of people/players are into it yet. But compared to this year's WBC to the previous editions (TV ratings/attendance wise), it is growing, so that's progress at least.

@ILoveArcade @SleeperMLB Yeah, other than Kiké Hernandez and J-Rod who also said that the WBC matters more. Manny Machado, Ketel Marte, Jeimer Candelario, Nelson Cruz, and Teoscar Hernandez also said in 2023 that winning the WBC matters more than winning the World Series.

@Ember_Rains @manuellll_yg @BuffytheB @Vinsmoke1P @JeffSkversky MLB players are already getting blocked from participating this WBC though due to insurance issues, and MLB along with the MLBPA created the WBC, what more when it comes to the Olympics that MLB doesn't even own? Not unless the IOC is willing to pay for their insurance.

@AapChutiye @WBCBaseball Probably because cricket is not even that popular in the US. Besides, Baseball and cricket is a stick/bat and ball game anyway so there's really not much difference to it when it comes to throwing or hitting.
