Major shift happening in the GTM engineering world
> teams are cutting $50k Al SDR platforms that burn domain reputation with cold spam
> replacing them with lightweight MCP agents tied to webhooks
> triggering on intent signals
10 hyper-relevant touches to CXOs converting way higher than 5000 automated emails
@NicoMuoio Spray and pray dies out. Volume stopped converting a while ago.
The ai SDRs don't survive being a wrapper on something a team can wire up themselves in a week.

I made a grok bot that finds leads already in market
> scans reddit, hn, linkedin, github, with apollo plugged in
> finds posts looking for solutions we solve, or complaints about competitors in the space
> enriches company + title, contact info and scores the fit
> I type the copy and hit send
Running this twice a week to avoid missing any public buying signals
sales outreach is just another medium of marketing
the psychology behind a billboard, a cold email, and a discovery call is the same - no reason to reinvent the wheel
you should never say something to someone that sounds like it should be on a billboard, and you should never put on a billboard what you wouldn't say to someone in conversation
Is Grok Bot worth the $30/month?
goal is to remove manual top of funnel / admin work, to prioritize high priority outreach, and moving current deals forward
Workflow with Chat between 4-5pm
> scheduled task runs every weekday at 4pm
> scans tomorrow’s calendar and ranks meetings by urgency + potential impact
> pulls relevant context from hubspot, gmail, granola, drive and slack to build a prep brief for each call: deal status, blockers, people involved, likely objections
> checks apollo for likely missing stakeholders
> makes evidence-backed hubspot updates
Prepped for every call the next day, and uncover roadblocks before they come up
Current workflow between 8-9am
> hubspot, granola, gmail, drive, slack plugged into Chatgpt
> Chat sends top 15 active deals needing follow up every morning at 8:00am
> go through context for each deal and send value add (api docs, case study, offer time with me to set up account)
> Chat automatically edits next step notes, and moves deal stages if necessary inside hubspot
All active deals have everything they need by 9am, and CRM is up to date
