We love it when customers build robot applications we didnโt see coming. Hats off, RenewIT! ๐ช

Our customer just deployed what we believe is the longest-horizon, fully-automated, mobile-manipulation workflow in production.
12 linked subtasks. Running the night shift at Rectify, a London plastics manufacturer. Built and trained by the customer, using Reimagine.

Online training from corrections is the real unlock for robot deployments. Each intervention makes the model more robust. In a single training session, a user can achieve production reliability.
Right there on the factory floor.

"That looks easy. Can we try?"
Our customer asked us this a few weeks into our first pilot. After a decade spent trying to crack robot deployment, that question was music to our ears. We learned the hard way that robotics must be user-first, not model-first.
@AhsanJaveriya@lukas_m_ziegler@JonathanScholz2 Yeah that one was fun and blew me away to see how far our customer got on their own. We'll release a full video in a few weeks with some learnings
@A1_Projects@lukas_m_ziegler@JonathanScholz2 Training is all in-house models and cloud platform. We have a range of sims we use extensively for R&D, but never for application building since it breaks our philosophy of making it accessible to non-roboticists
Yep that's actually the foundation we started on, and still most mature. As tech improves the teleop will get replaced by human demos, and eventually multimodal instructions (gesture, gaze, language, etc)
You can think of what we're doing as making the ergonomics of application-building as good as possible, so customers can build as fast as possible.
At Reimagine Robotics, we're building robots you can train on the job. Show it a task. If it gets it right, great. If it slips, you correct it on the spot and move on.
We're excited to introduce ourselves, and our CEO @JonathanScholz2 explains more ๐
