@Shannon_Liao for someone who cannot read basic Chinese, yet claimed to have verified translations from an inaccurate report, that seemed really odd. Will you be able to provide an explanation for that? Or you're just gonna fake it till you make it? this is kinda mind blowing.
@_Astrologian absolutely true. a lot of raiders tend to forget how it was like when they first started out, and help others who are first starting out by being kind. it is also important for beginners to know where they stand, and take baby steps instead of trying to run before walking.
@_Astrologian that is true. while there are accessibility features in game, e.g. for colourblindness, but it is limited for sure. while the game design has not been inclusive for other disabilities, but the community definitely has been amazing in including players with disabilities
@_Astrologian the crucial part is that PS4 and PS5 players work around these limitations just fine, they do not have the luxury of tools and some of the most insane raiders are actually PS players. thses tools are great but over reliance on them also limits your potential as a raider long term
@_Astrologian it's about battling with your own ego, and if this is your first raid tier, it will improve over time. as your raid experience increase, your adaptability and raid awareness gets better, and you can prog/clear future raids at a faster pace. everyone starts somewhere.
@_Astrologian there are players who can do week 1,and there are players who clear thr content at week 8, or even end of patch. you cannot expect to be clearing at week 1 if you have difficulties learning fast, and that's okay. it doesn't mean one is smarter than the other.
@_Astrologian that's a different narrative, because indeed, people learn at different paces, so the most important thing is actually to find a group that has the same expectations. nothing to do with the raid difficulty, but more of individual expectations.
@_Astrologian P3S was hard even for those who are not colour blind, the red+orange was just bad design in general so you are not alone. I have a friend who is colourblind but he's an incredible raider who work around his limitations even for P3S
