Assalamualaikum.
Alhamdulillah, I just received the first copies of my first book, titled “Lautan Pikiran” or “the Ocean of Thoughts” from the publisher; the book is bilingual—Indonesian-English (two sided), one of the very first bilingual books in Indonesia. #booklover
🇵🇸🇮🇱 Last night in the West Bank, a group of Israelis attacked the home of a 78-year-old Palestinian-American.
They set three of his cars on fire, smashed the doors and windows, and tried to get inside while he and his wife were still in the house. He watched the whole thing on his security cameras.
Neighbors came out and pushed them back.
Then Israeli forces showed up and fired tear gas at the residents.
Zaater says they’re trying to drive him off his land.
And this is far from the first time. The UN counted over 1,600 attacks like this across the West Bank this year.

“We hear you.” UK Foreign Secretary @Ed_Miliband, speaking at UK Labour party conference this morning.
Thank you to the millions of people in Britain and around the world who stood firmly on the side of justice, on the side of Palestine 🇵🇸✊🏽
Pro-Palestine Action protesters were arrested today outside the Labour Party conference, the first to be held since Andy Burnham became Prime Minister.
The demonstrators were seen holding signs expressing support for Palestine Action, which was proscribed as a terrorist organisation by the UK Government in July.
Campaigners are challenging the proscription through the courts and have accused the UK Government of being complicit in Israeli war crimes in Gaza. The Government rejects such allegations.
“Just a handful of juvenile delinquents,” Israeli war criminal Netanyahu says at the UN, referring to terror settler militias, as facts on the groud tell a completely different story.
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez calls to reform the UN Security Council and abolish the veto power of permanent members:
"No country should be judge in its own case, no matter how powerful they are."
If you’re a progressive who supports Palestine it’s fine.
If you’re a Muslim who supports Palestine you’re automatically Hamas. The Islamophobic tropes are clear. Mamdani has never supported Hamas or said anything antisemitic.
Netanyahu on the other hand is an anti Arab bigot.
A Palestinian was killed and others injured after Israeli occupation forces targeted a group of civilians near Al-Wafaa Hospital in Gaza City, leaving bloodied streets in the aftermath of the attack.
Israel's war in Gaza has spread into attacks across Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen and Iraq, with open waters now used as choke points.

🚨🇪🇸🇵🇸🇮🇱 DOWNRIGHT HEARTBREAKING! Nasser is 7-years-old. His legs were blown off by a bomb in Gaza when he was only FIVE YEARS OLD!
His EIGHT-MONTH-OLD sister… DEAD! His father is still in Gaza, and his mother, who knows?
Today, he is safe, loved, and cared for in Spain.
Is bombing little children really something people think they can honestly justify?
Stop supporting genocide and start speaking out!

French President Emmanuel Macron criticized Gaza diplomacy at the UN General Assembly, calling it a ‘spectacle that shames us all’ and urging action to reopen humanitarian routes https://t.co/aUCWx2Bqui
UN chief Antonio Guterres warned that Israeli settlement expansion, violence and displacement in the occupied West Bank are “raising the spectre of ethnic cleansing” and “bulldozing the path to peace”.
He just keeps digging his hole. And lying too - he literally spoke out repeatedly for Ukraine and went to Ukraine.
But Gaza apparently, nope, that’s too political and bad for ‘families’. Hypocrite.
Artists in Gaza have painted a mural of Macklemore wrapped in a Palestinian flag on a huge slab of concrete in the ruins of Gaza City, after the US rapper was kicked off Ed Sheeran's tour https://t.co/v6cQyHQ7jV
US Congressman:
"Islam has nothing to do with this; be human and support Palestine."
US Congressman Mike Bost, speaking out against the suffering in Gaza, argued that support for Palestine should not be about religion.
"You only need to be human to support Palestine."
A Syrian man hid Islamic books behind a wall since 2011.
Certain Islamic books were banned under the Assad regime, and possessing some of these books could have resulted in imprisonment.
He has now demolished the wall to find the books intact.
