Yes, it has almost gotten to the point today that we need a new term, at least to describe online, not in-person, food fights as something other than "debate." When I think of the debates that were common in the Reformation period, which literally lasted days, and compare online slugfests that required zero study and preparation and that includes the required ceiling fan spinning in the background, I can't help but think we took a wrong turn somewhere.
