Wall Street shipped a working blockchain.

The bullish one. While everyone argued about whether tokenized stocks are real, a regulated ~$100B broker quietly shipped a working public chain and put them live on it. Whatever the memecoins on top are doing, the infrastructure milestone underneath is the genuine article, and it is the bull case made concrete.

This is actually the part I find most interesting.

I agree that staking, governance and collateral alone aren’t enough. I want direct value capture too.

But Plume has already stated that as protocol fees ramp, capital will be allocated to token buybacks alongside ecosystem incentives and growth.

The new vault architecture also supports management fees based on AUM.

So the mechanism is being built. What we don’t have yet is meaningful revenue and actual recurring $PLUME buybacks.

That’s the piece I’m watching. If they execute it, the token economics become a VERY different story.

Yes. $PLUME is the native gas token, used for staking, governance and as collateral across the ecosystem.

More interestingly, Plume has stated that as protocol fees grow, capital will be allocated to token buybacks alongside ecosystem incentives and growth.

That last part is what I’m watching closely. The infrastructure and institutional adoption can be incredible, but ultimately I want to see that success flow back into the token.

Zero money spent. We asked live aggregators on two chains (Ethereum & Solana) one question: buy a thing, sell it straight back, what did the round trip cost?

Blue chips are near free. The tail eats you alive, and worse the bigger you go. This is the base case in numbers, not opinion.
