The Fourth Amendment prohibits government agents from entering a home without a judicial warrant.

If federal agents can force their way into a U.S. citizen’s home, ignore repeated demands to produce a warrant, and use force without lawful authority, they aren’t just violating one family’s rights… they’re undermining one of the core constitutional principles America was founded on.

A free country depends on the government being bound by the Constitution. If those limits can be ignored without consequences, we are no longer a free country.

Trump made a lot of promises on the 2024 campaign trail.  He promised repeatedly that his administration would be transparent and accessible.  Then after his inauguration in January 2025, he pardoned the convicted felons who stormed the Capitol.  Soon, the Justice Department started removing posts about the convictions from the DOJ website.  If you want to know what someone pardoned by Trump was convicted of doing on January 6, that information is now much harder to find.  So much for transparency.

Just this week, former CIA director John Brennan sued the Trump Department of Justice.  He is seeking a court order to force the preservation of records in the ongoing federal investigations targeting him.  Why do this now?  Brennan's legal team argues that any "eventual indictment" against him will be challenged in court and any destruction of official records would impact his legal team’s ability to defend their client.  Director Brennan’s legal team has asked a Federal Judge to order Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche and the Justice Department, as well as the White House, ODNI and CIA to "preserve materials and communications potentially relevant to Director Brennan's legal and constitutional challenges to any future criminal charges."  This is a preemptive action they deemed necessary and appropriate given this administration’s history of obstruction.  During his campaign, Trump repeatedly said that he would seek “retribution” against his perceived enemies.  We can hope that this action by Brennan’s legal team will cause the president to have second thoughts about going after John Brennan.

250 years ago, America declared its independence using such noble ideals as life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.  It was a fresh, young, fragile statement of freedoms.  However, omitted in thought and deed were those outside the circle of belonging: women, Natives, landless laborers, and Black Americans both free and enslaved.  The writers thought we could be “created equal” and yet some still be subservient.

Not everyone agreed.  Lemuel Haynes, first ordained black minister in the newly declared United States, recognized this omission as early as 1776 in his sermon titled “Liberty Further Extended”.   We have been working ceaselessly since to make the forefathers’ idealist thoughts a practical and political reality of inclusivity.

250 years ago we were a very YOUNG nation for FREEDOM.  As we MATURE, what do we expect?  We the People expect Liberty Further Extended.

250 pardons to mark 250 years of America?  We have never seen an administration so willing to sell access to presidential pardons.  Advisors to the president are split on how this proposal of 250 pardons will affect the midterms.  Some say it will result in support from the base, others say it will affect his already dismal approval ratings.  Unmistakable is that everything is monetized towards the president and his hangers-on, lobbying for a chunk of the change.  Trump has given over 1700 pardons so far.  The White House claims it has a “rigorous review process.”  It’s quite obvious that the previous pathway to the DOJ’s pardon attorney has been replaced by a network of intermediaries using personal connections and wealth to obtain pardons.  All that is needed is at least $2 million deposited to MAGA Inc., most likely a felony in itself.  Besides the J6 pardons, most of the forgiven so far have been for white collar crimes (fraud), and the victims of these frauds have lost 1.3-2 billion in restitution, along with federal fines to the government.  If this DOJ enables this, Trump will be the “ultimate decider.”  Once again the White House will be open for business at the 250th birthday of The United States.

Who stands to benefit from the increased restrictions on Cuba?  After decades of attempts to help the Cuban people, mostly our efforts have empowered the communist regime instead.  Will Trump’s threat of a military “friendly takeover” be any different?  Secretary of State Marco Rubio is walking a fine line, attempting to blame the current socialist structure in Cuba for its isolation and economic decline, rather than increased sanctions by the U.S.  An insufficient proposal to allow 3rd party private sales of oil to the beleaguered nation is not likely to make any dent in the structure of the socialist grip on its citizens.  Instead, experts say it will increase cronyism.  In reaction to Trump’s pressure, the Cuban government has made vague promises to improve.  The only improvements strengthened by Trump’s policies have been oil supplies and aid from Russia and China, while ordinary people of Cuba continue to be oppressed.

Journalist David Frum gave a rousing plea to inspire Americans on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.  During this time of scandal, shame, and national embarrassment created by the Trump regime, he finds reason to hope.  Frum quotes from the poem “Ichabod” (defined as “The glory has departed”) which John Greenleaf Whittier penned.  Whittier despaired over Daniel Webster’s support of the national shame of the Compromise of 1850 that allowed slave states to be admitted to the union, and called for the return of slaves to their owners after capture.  During the interval between 1850 and 1861, the North expanded industrial output, railways, and the population grew.  90% of the nation’s industry and manpower was in the North.  It gave the North the capacity to outlast the South during the Civil War.

Progress can and will be restored in the hope for human freedom.

Historically, wedge issues have been used to divide people into opposing groups or factions.  Our nation fought a Civil War over the idea that some people could be slaves and some people could be owners.  The idea that people could be united as one people was put forth by the people who founded the nation: “With liberty and justice for All” But, those words have never become a reality.  One of the reasons may be wedge issues.  And our media often uses those issues to draw attention to them and away from other outlets.  How then do we know when we are being targeted and manipulated by the media?  First step is to verify the information. Just because something resonates doesn’t mean it’s true.  Repeating a false statement causes more people to believe it.  Fact checking then is the first line of defense. Realistically, there are certain issues where there are two or more sides and where there may never be agreement.  Just increase awareness of when these issues are being used to create division.  Then try to focus on what values the sides have in common. “ Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” are common values and we can unite around them!  This is how we can win in November.  Unite for Victory.  #VoteBlue

Be extremely wealthy, Have zero experience relating to the chosen position, White, Ethically challenged, Willing to fire employees responsible for fair treatment of the non-wealthy, then hire those subservient to Trump, Go after Trump’s perceived enemies list, Belief in crypto currency scams, Announce abrupt and unexpected policies,
Manipulate the stock market each time Trump asks, Accuse Democrats of fraud.

These are just a few of the real reasons this regime abandoned DEI, all the while claiming to be in favor of a meritocracy.

We cannot afford to sit back and relax, now that SCOTUS came within one vote of denying birthright citizenship when deciding U.S. v Barbara recently.

8 U.S.C. 1401, codified into federal law the Citizenship Clause, and the 1898 decision U.S. v Wong Kim Ark.  But Justices like Clarence Thomas stated in his recent dissent “I am not sure that today’s decision will stand this test of time.”  The current regime aims to shape the future electorate-first by severely restricting immigration (except Ivana and Melania Trump, both immigrants who gave birth to children before they were themselves citizens) and by continuing attempts to pass the SAVE Act.
The republicans have no ideas or policies to appeal to the majority, so they form powerful interest groups like The Article III Project, and Stephen Miller’s “America First Legal” alongside groups like the Federalist Society.  They desire to choose their voters, then lie to them on their networks like Fox, instead of winning on their ideas.
The suggestion by justice Kavanaugh to have Congress establish exceptions to deny citizenship to those not chosen by republicans, has been enthusiastically embraced by Trump and his MAGA GOP.

The State Department has hired a new recruiting contractor.  A subsidiary of RedBalloon, called MilitaryHire.  They claim to be America’s “non-woke“ job board, in order to replace Foreign Service Officers fired by Marco Rubio.  Foreign Service Officers fall within several areas: political, economic, and diplomacy management.  They are the backbone of our diplomatic missions.  The Trump regime is using the “Woke” insult to realign every agency to fall in line with Trump’s agenda.  It’s claiming to lack any ideological slant, but the new recruiting firm aligns with Pete Hegseth’s spiritual advisor, Andrew Crapuchettes.  This is where Hegseth gets his ideas that women shouldn’t vote, and flogging should replace prisons.  Crapuchettes has called the Left “Our lizard overlords.”  Similar attempts have been launched at the following departments: Defense, Interior, and Veterans Affairs, and are already in place at ICE and Border Patrol.  These moves follow statements by these “unbiased” recruiters such as “It was focused on trying to get in the guy with a PhD in Black dance, rather than people who can actually do a good job.“  A good job, or provide servants to Trump’s fascism?

Ingenious and innovative use of solar energy panels are being tried world wide.  Finding new places is challenging but becoming increasingly in demand and popular: over productive farmland, municipal and residential carports, EV charging canopies, residential roofs, urban balconies, solar facade panels in modern architecture and development, and a recent pilot project in Switzerland suggests that thousands of acres of viable, low-cost land has been hiding in plain sight all along: the space between railroad tracks.

For the first time wind and solar were the largest use of new energy in 2025!

We can do it!  Renewable, clean, and sustainable energy is possible.
