I am a CHRISTIAN ASSYRIAN and proud of it ❤️Born in Baghdad, Iraq, raised in Europe and The United States, Multi Cultural and fluent in 5 languages. Ask me.
Procession for fallen Philadelphia Police Officer Shane Seiber arrived to the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul shortly after 6am. Officer Seiber lost his life in the line of duty this month. His partner was also shot and is recovering. Seiber was an Air Force veteran, who served two tours in Iraq. He leaves behind a wife and two children. 🇺🇸🕊️
As an Assyrian Christian who grew up hearing constant accounts of Palestinian suffering, I later came to understand the broader historical picture more clearly. Across the Middle East, Jewish communities were expelled from the countries in which they had lived for centuries. After enduring profound hardship and existing for generations without a sovereign state of their own, the Jewish people returned to their ancestral homeland. Since the establishment of that state they have faced repeated attacks.
I am not speaking from theory. As a Christian in the Middle East I experienced severe discrimination myself. The hostility directed at non-Muslims was intense and unrelenting. My family’s decision to leave—I to Europe, the rest of my relatives to the United States—was one of the best choices we ever made.
I am weary of the slogan “Free Palestine.” The Palestinian people could live in freedom, yet under Hamas they remain subject to a governing force that prioritizes perpetual conflict over the welfare of its own population. Claims of genocide in Gaza are propaganda; they do not withstand scrutiny of the facts. Actual mass killings of civilians on the basis of identity are occurring elsewhere and receive far less attention—most notably the ongoing slaughter of Christians in Nigeria.
It is especially preposterous that large parts of the LGBTQ community express strong support for the Palestinian cause. In Palestinian territories, particularly under Hamas rule, LGBTQ people face severe danger and are not welcome by any measure. They would be persecuted or worse if they lived there openly.
History provides further context. In Iraq and other Middle Eastern countries, Jews were murdered simply for being Jewish. The chant “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” is not a call for peaceful coexistence. It refers to the territory between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea and expresses the clear intention to annihilate the Jewish people living there. In other words, what many who promote this slogan are calling for is the genocide of the Jews.
I wish more people would examine these realities instead of repeating slogans. Education and honest reckoning with the full historical and present-day record matter.
In simple terms, use trustworthy sources to get accurate information—do not rely only on social media.
Right is Right and Wrong is Wrong and I know the difference.

‼️‼️
Let's talk.
Never been a sovereign state. No agreed borders, no single government, no peace deal ever accepted.
Yet this flag flies over Western cities more than their own.
Be honest.
What's the first word that comes to mind when you see it?
Why didn’t you mention the fact that Ilhan Omar’s father Nur Omar Mohamed didn’t disclose on his asylum application that he was not fleeing the violent genocidal regime in Somalia, he was part of it? If he lied on his asylum application that is fraud, which makes Ilhan’s status in the United States which she herself says she derived from her father, also a fraud. If we don’t enforce our laws when they’re broken, we aren’t a country.
@BarackObama Barack, where was your FAKE OUTRAGE when Biden was arresting scores of Republicans?
If Democrats didn't have Double Standards...
They would have no standards at all!
Barack Obama, the man who used the full weight of the intelligence agencies and Justice Department to spy on Donald Trump and push a fabricated Russia hoax in an attempt to undermine his presidency, now wants to lecture everyone about the weaponization of justice. The man is so jealous of Trump he can’t help himself.
@BarackObama I truly can't imagine a more destructive president than you have been. A vacuous empty suit spewing platitudinous shite all day long. You are an enemy of the foundational principles of the United States. I say that with all due respect of course. #BLM
@BarackObama I’m not surprised to see you defend Ilhan Omar after she falsified her birth certificate to make herself eligible to hold public office.
You guys are 2 peas in a pod.
