The people you love aren’t the destination — they’re a reflection. Pray that God would open your eyes to see it.

It’s hard for me to believe that, in a Republican Party that includes Lisa Murkowski and Mitch McConnell, Senator Lee can’t conceive of why calling yourself something does not in fact make you that thing.

Paul speaks of one preaching “another Jesus” whom the Apostles “have not preached” (2 Corinthians 11:4). They may call him “Jesus,” as the Mormons do, but then they also teach something about Jesus that is so fundamentally unlike the true Christ that their “Jesus” is different from the only Jesus who actually exists.

As there are RINOs, there are CINOs—Christians in name only, who take the name of the Lord in vain. There are certain things which, if believed, preclude someone from salvation (like believing that Jesus was a created being and the spirit brother of Lucifer), because to believe those things is to believe in another Jesus—in a phantom savior that doesn’t exist, and therefore who cannot save people from their sins.

Expecting other people na kamustahin ka and feeling bad when they don’t is problematic because you don’t have control over what other people will do.

Kung may mangamusta (hindi yung mangungutang ha), ok. Kung wala, ok lang din. Simple lang ang buhay. Huwag gawing kumplikado.
