Flip resets are becoming outdated.

Everyone is constantly going for flip resets but never scoring.

That’s why in pro play, we’re starting to see them less and less.

Flip resets force you to slow the play down unless you’ve already built up enough speed. Without that, they’re often not worth going for.

The more time you take on a play, the easier it is to defend.

That’s why, in most cases, you need to prioritize speed.

Focus on developing these mechanics first:

• Air dribbles (soft and hard touches)
• Double touches
• Fast, high-power shots

These mechanics allow for faster recoveries, use less boost, are easier to execute consistently, and apply the same amount, if not more, pressure on your opponents.

If you can perform these with speed and consistency, you’ll be far more difficult to defend than someone going for a flip reset every play.

Understanding this will completely transform you as a player.
