In this video, Abantika Ghosh pulls back the curtain on how, in many hospitals, billing has turned into a profit engine where management teams track every piece of equipment used in your surgery to maximise the invoice, where doctors have lost the discretion to protect you even if they want to, where the word "cancer" is deployed like a weapon to shut down questions, and where being insured is not a safety net but a signal to charge more. It's a warning sign for the red flags you need to watch out for.

Directorate General of Shipping, Mumbai, says that at approximately 2100 hrs UTC on 11 March 2026, the oil tanker MT SAFESEA VISHNU, which was carrying around 48,000 metric tonnes of naphtha, was struck by a white-coloured unmanned speedboat carrying explosives as per preliminary reports. The incident occurred near Basra, Iraq, on 11 March 2026, during ship-to-ship (STS) cargo loading operations off Khor Al Zubair Port.

Directorate General of Shipping, Mumbai, also confirmed the demise of one Indian seafarer, and said that among the personnel rescued by an STS tug operating in the vicinity, 15 are Indian nationals.

Bangalore Hotels Association releases a notice saying, "The supply of gas cylinders for commercial use has been stopped from today. Since the hotel industry is classified as an Essential Service, the common people, senior citizens, students, medical and other people who depend on it will face difficulties in their daily meals. In addition, our hotel industry will also have to face difficulties until the gas supply returns to normal. Oil companies had said that there would be no disruption in gas supply for 70 days. However, the sudden stoppage of supply is a big blow to the hotel industry. Air India is deploying its widebody aircraft with higher capacity on its services to Jeddah and Dubai on 3 and 4 March to facilitate the return of passengers impacted by the ongoing situation in the Middle East.

A Boeing 777 aircraft with a capacity of close to 350 seats departed Mumbai for Jeddah this evening. This will be followed by a Boeing 787-9 with around 300 seats scheduled to depart Delhi for Dubai later tonight and another Boeing 787-8 aircraft with over 250 seats operating from Mumbai to Dubai in the early hours of 4 March.

All the flights are expected to operate at full capacity on their return sectors on 4 March, arriving at Mumbai and Delhi, respectively.

Air India continues to closely monitor the evolving developments in the region. The airline remains fully committed to ensuring the highest standards of safety and care for its passengers and crew.
