In 1994, Michael Jackson’s Heal the World Foundation partnered with several organisations to give 2,000 disadvantaged children tickets to see Janet Jackson, the Beach Boys and the L.A. Laker Jam. Later that year Heal L.A. funded a mentoring program in 6 Los Angeles middle schools, reaching over 1,000 students with the support of 300 volunteers. The program gave young people in LA access to guidance, academic support and positive role models. 🤍
