The funny thing is that this kind of story almost never starts with the 10k.
There’s usually a long history behind it. The friend has probly covered rent before, sent urgent 2k before, paid for one emergency after another, & there’s probably one unsecured loan he collected from him that he promised to pay back "when salary enter", that he’s still owing till today & would never explain because he believes the friend is rich.
Then one day this same friendd comes to you to vent, or says no, and suddenly all the previous help becomes ancient memory.
It isn’t even just him, it is part of the Nigerian "entitlement culture" syndrome. People will collect your kindness until it becomes part of their monthly planning & budgeting, then act wounded when you remind them that you sef be human being o. Your friend spending 250k on his own house does not mean he has opened an orphanage home.
When Kemi, an opposition leader, does her job in the UK parliament, she's hailed as one that Oduduwa would be proud of.
When Obi, an opposition leader in Nigeria, does his job, he's insulted. His tribe is maligned. His businesses are targeted.
Welcome to Nigeria.
The Olodo Uprising menace also affected businesses with a social media presence. Imagine succumbing to degenerative contents, lousy and razz behaviour just to get ahead of the algorithms.
God forbid.
I love how almost everyone can relate to this “Olodo Uprising” comment.
One of the biggest favours we can do for the next generation is to stop platforming stupid people and making them famous.
Social media is now saturated with brain-rot content. Let’s stop rewarding it with our attention.
If you think Ycee is yarning yarns when he said olodo culture is taking over, picture the scenario of Speed coming to Lagos and it was Egungun that was his first interviewer!!!
Imagine "it's plenty" being the face of real estate and luxury cars!!!
Tom Hardy admitted he cried after reading online criticism of his appearance in THE DARK KNIGHT RISES.
“Bat-fans want me to be over 220 pounds. 400 pounds. I’m like, dude… I’m human. I read things & I cry. I just try to be the best that I can be.”
Accountability means a lot to me. Nobody is perfect, we all make mistakes, but don’t try to shift the blame and make my reaction the problem when your actions are what caused the hurt in the first place. Take responsibility for what you did before questioning how I responded.
Ycee might actually never know the sort of cultural reset and paradigm shift that his comment about "Olodo uprising" has caused on conscious minds here.
Anybody fighting what he said is truly among the group of Olodo Uprising he rightly talked about.
Много что можно сказать об эпизио, но никто никогда не объяснит, почему такой разрез повсеместно делают без предупреждения и зашивают наживую без анестезии, кроме как лютым, абсолютно бесчеловечным презрением к женщинам
