This view on Swan Street in Manchester captures the madness of a city frantically monetising all of its available left-over spaces. The old city becomes a mere stage set - and an extremely fragile-looking one at that.
Why does rent go up in cities/areas when people from bigger cities move there?
How is that justified?
How does a developer know that this specific dwelling is going to somebody from outside the local area?
It all just sounds like an excuse to rip of regular people.

I realise this account will be me talking into the wind for a while, but you have to start somewhere.
I want to know the BEST way of promoting NFTs as a newbie. Online it seems the only case studies are from established artists/celebrities.
#NFT#Opensea#NFTProject
I have a 1000-Piece collection of @kanyewest Inspired NFTs. To enter the NFT space I thought it would be appropriate to create a dedicated platform for it.
I want to build with the community genuinely; promote and sell my pieces I worked hard on + be inspired by other artists.
Architects are some of the best visualisers of ideas. We can convey any complex idea in the most simplistic of ways and to a high graphical standard….
But there’s no demand for that skill in the profession it seems
Architecture in real life seems to be not only being told to colour within the lines, but exactly what thickness and colour those lines should be too…
There’s gotta be something better out there
Maybe it’s not worded right, because if it can be creative ultimately the answer is “yes” but the majority of things we all do doesn’t feel creative it feels more like a “problem solving” job. Like architecture is a tool, which isn’t a negative, but isn’t creative,
Mad it was my first day of uni today 6 years ago.
We had to make a structure out of yarn, tape and paper that could hold a tennis ball and not fall over.
Ours was the best, I stand by that till this day
@grantshapps I would love to discuss my thesis with you and your team in hopes for a better transport system in this country, locally, nationally and regionally.
The project allowed me and my work partner Julia, to explore just about as many ideas through the lens of architecture, transport and infrastructure as possible.
I’d love to set these ideas onto the real world one day.
Thank you once again to @WW_Architecture
