The idea of sadaqah scares non muslims a lot. How can you be managing and still share?
Clarifications
1. Only 5 people buy one cow to share because that is what is in the sunnah. Not more. Same as camel. Only one person can buy ram, goat, sheep, etc.
2. We are only allowed to borrow money to "buy cow and share" when we are sure some money is coming in soon for us to repay the loan. There is no compulsion in it. You may have the power this year and it's different next year. No compulsion. Borrowing in Islam has legislation.
3. We share it because it is the sunnah to share your udhiyah into 3 parts. One for yourself, 1 for the needy around you and one for those who will tell you they are interested.
4. Everything here is the sunnah
This is religion, this is worship, not "I have a better idea".
What you don't know, ask, never assume.
Eid Mubarak my people.
It’s been raining since daybreak and these children are still inside the forest😭. 8 days of agony. No one can tell what their state of health is at the moment.

Just to put it out here. The famous Eid day 1 to Eid day 4 only applies to big sallah.
This is because that is how it is in the sunnah. No basis for day 2 to whatever in small sallah.
To break it down, the way it is haram to fast on eid day for small sallah, is the way it is haram to fast on day 1 - 4 of big eid.
Unless our celebration is not based on the sunnah again.
What a beautiful reminder Omar Suleiman gave at the end of his Ramaḍan series. Whoever worshipped Ramaḍan, Ramaḍan is over, but whoever worshipped Allah, Allah is alive & will never die. So don’t let this month close like a door but let it open to Him for the rest of your life
With deep pain and righteous indignation, I mourn the tragic and avoidable death of Mr. Adegoke Fatai, a dedicated teacher who was brutally attacked by his own students while trying to stop them from gambling during school hours.
This horrifying act is not just an assault on one man, it is an attack on the entire teaching profession. A teacher who stood for discipline and integrity was beaten, had his limbs broken, and eventually died from his injuries. What a painful reflection of moral decay and loss of values in our schools and homes!
I call on the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) Ogbomoso Zone, TESCOM, and law enforcement authorities to act swiftly and decisively. Those students must be arrested, prosecuted, and made to face the full weight of the law. Their parents, too, must not escape responsibility. Silence at this moment is complicity.
Teachers are not slaves. We are nation builders, deserving of protection, respect, and dignity in the line of duty.
Let this be the last time any teacher’s blood is shed in vain.
Justice for Mr. Adegoke Fatai!
Justice for the teaching profession!
Thanks to you all.
That being said, if you’re a rich person who has a house in VI but doesn’t live in the country and needs someone to be helping you live in your house for a monthly rent that won’t kill the person(you and I know you don’t need the money😭)
Biko, let me move in😭😭 E Saanu mi🙏
