Sen. Markwayne Mullin says 70% of ICE arrests involve individuals with criminal charges or felony convictions, arguing that’s why Congress must fully fund ICE and CBP for next three years:
“Seventy percent of the arrests ICE agents make every single day are not individuals who simply crossed the border looking for a job. Seventy percent either have pending criminal charges or are already convicted felons. We’re taking the worst of the worst off the streets with the best of the best, and that’s ICE. And that is exactly the agency Mamdani wants to abolish. This is exactly why we need to fund ICE and CBP for three years and take it off the table, because these radical left Democrats want open borders and lawlessness running through our streets.”
