@JeremyNguyenPhD Would I care? No. As long as it is really good. Surely she directed chatgpt to something, so the magic and the wisdom is there, in knowing where to go.
Are there efficient open source routing softwares that can take Uber Speeds (OSM way estimated speeds) from Movement platform as input to enable calculations of auto travel time matrices with the data? Suggestions anyone? @UberEng
.@renatoarbex shows how accessibility to jobs has more than doubled for lower income populations in Sao Paulo since the start of quarantine due to increased bus speeds from reduced traffic

Check out our updated program! #TransitData 2020 online symposium features a broad panorama of applications & studies using #automated#transit#data in 13 parallel sessions & 80+ lightning presentations. Sponsored by @CimaPlus, CSched & GIRO Inc. https://t.co/qY4Fqm7YTZ
Any suggestions on how to calculate public transport travel time matrices faster? I'm processing 50+ very large GTFS feeds, calculating travel times between 4500 points. My current approach is using OpenTripPlanner (OTP), but I'm estimating a 2 week processing time. Thanks!
Few ideas have done as much damage as the notion that education is merely about the acquisition of marketable skills. Education is the vehicle through which civilization propagates itself through time, from one generation to the next.
#IJGIS Progress in computational movement analysis – towards movement data science. Topics include (1) representation and modeling of movement; (2) urban mobility analytics; and (3) movement analytics using social media data. @smayadodge @dinomirMT https://t.co/9KLXIh4FaF
GeoPandas 0.8.0 has arrived!
It's a big one: more IO (PostGIS, Parquet, Feather), optional speed-up using PyGEOS, better support for multiple geometry columns, and lots of other fixes and improvements.
Thanks to all contributors for making this possible!

@geopandas This is fantastic! Congrats on the new release. Looking forward to test the new optimizations. A question about pyproj, this week I did a fresh Anaconda/Geopandas install but pyproj version was still 1.9.6. Installed 2.6.1 to avoid an RuntimeError. Is this correct? Thanks
@TPRpiano@PitTanMusic Congratulations TPR! Looking forward for this new release. Love your covers. Just a question, will you release Trials of Mana album also on Spotify? It would be great! Thanks
Transport in China during #COVID19 has seen drastic shifts in demand, ridership patterns, distribution & passenger needs.
Blog from WRI China explores how the sector embraces these shifts to be safer and more accessible, efficient & sustainable. https://t.co/k6funYwlFX 🚲🚍
A very unique symposium focused on public transit data such as smart card, AVL and sensors data to build actionable knowledge. Timely as historical data is a rich source to investigate demand pattern changes during COVID in a high spatiotemporal resolution.
