Hey y’all, I’m off this hell site. Find me at the Blue place at https://t.co/EA0dvjnRRE.
Cheers! To quote Special Agent Dale Cooper, see you on the other side.
Feels like it was totally predictable that Elon's GOTV operation wld end up looking like someting between a human trafficking operation and something out of Breaking Bad
i'd vaguely heard about the US election in 2000 actually being "stolen" and i looked it up and it seems consensus is
- the entire US election came down to florida
- the difference in votes was <0.1%, not statistically significant
- polling machine had hardware issues way higher than <0.1%
- florida could have decided to actually and properly hand count the votes
- the state's highest supreme court decided to do that
- bush asked the supreme court to intervene in a state's free & independent ability to run its own elections
- the voting was exactly on partisan lines: the 5 republican judges declared bush the winner
- they cited reasoning that competes for one of the most transparently dishonest rulings of all time
- the single most comprehensive study after the fact found that if the votes had been properly counted, gore would have won
- this is not factoring in a calculated, well-documented attempt by republican governor of florida to suppress thousands of votes, in black counties for al gore, by the official US election commission
Hey @dieworkwear and @IainTreloar need to do a more in-depth piece on the styles of the pro cyclists and others at the TDF route presentation. The readers of @EscapeCycling will thank you!
My close friend, David Shreve, who I often refer to as the smartest person I have ever known, explains why voting for Republicans because of “the economy” is completely insane.
Look man i "get it", I "get" the idea of coasters, I'm not a fucking moron, you don't want to damage your nice table you spent a lot of money on. I'm just saying, what is the table in the first place if not a coaster for the floor. I'm just saying, where does it end
Insane stat from the Wall Street Journal that there are like 12 million full-time influencers in the US right now. That’s 7% of the American workforce
No way a bubble like that is at all sustainable
