we should spend as much time thinking and telling students what they do well as we take for telling them what to improve upon! positive reinforcement is more encouraging and engaging then constantly being told areas that your not good at and makes you want to improve!

my biggest peice of advice to new residents is to find a comfortable and safe pooping and crying bathroom (to do one or the other or somethings both!) in the hospital early on. It is key to maintaining your mental health.
