Exciting news—in the fall I’ll be joining @BayLegalJustice to work on fighting fraud and scams that target immigrant communities.
I’m incredibly grateful to @intel, Munger, Tolles, & Olson LLP and @EJW_org for making this project possible!
Rene Coe, a @BerkeleyLaw grad, will join @BayLegalJustice to advocate for low-income people in the Bay Area who are targeted by consumer fraud based on their language and perceived immigration status. Their Fellowship is sponsored by @Intel and Munger, Tolles, & Olson LLP.
Last week I had the chance to join community members, government officials, and local media for a conversation about scams targeting the Bay Area's AAPI communities. Thank you to @EthnicMediaSvc for the opportunity!

800,000 people dying and folks are living like the coronavirus never existed and as though it still doesn’t exist. I place blame on the government for sure. But people also need to start working themselves out of the individualism and care for one another as well.

The same AP that just had its office in Gaza bombed by Israel?
The AP fired a promising young journalist at the behest of the Stanford College Republicans. I hope the AP is proud of themselves (because the College Republicans sure are).
Israeli police fired at Palestinian protesters yesterday at Al-Aqsa Mosque. More than 200 people were injured. Protesters were showing support for Palestinian families facing eviction in occupied East Jerusalem.
The @UN has called Israel's forced evictions a potential war crime.
