This period of the author’s life is now over, the chapter closed and boarded up. There is nothing to avenge, no scores to settle once wounds have healed. And upon further reflection, a good number of them turned out to be self-inflicted. This writer is of the firm belief that our tears become holy in the form of ink on a page. Once we have spoken our saddest story, we can be free of it.

@centrelinkgovau Day 5 of calling the disability support line, multiple times a day, and all we get is ‘we are currently busy, goodbye’. How an earth are we supposed to sort out issues with payments when no one answers and the workers at Centrelink say they can’t help in person.

@jenary__ It's actually the worst. I have been in the queues for 6 hours so far with no luck...and yet people have been in them for less time than me and have bought tickets for Sydney AND Melbourne. #ugh

@Smeebird27 @fesshole I have a little friend who’s two and yesterday I waved at her family as they drove past. Unprompted, she quietly said ‘oh, goodbye my Renee’. If you work enough with kids, you’ll know that many 2 year olds can articulate things. It’s not always clear sentences but it can be!
