I want to thank progressive grassroots organizations for their extraordinary efforts in helping to make Biden's victory possible. Together, you built widespread support for Biden among young people, people of color and the working class. Congratulations. Let's keep going forward.
Disruptions to daily life, like school closures and event cancellations, are real and significant.
But it's all part of a vital effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus, so hospitals don't get overwhelmed with huge numbers of sick people.

To everyone in NYC but ESPECIALLY healthy people & people under 40 (bc from what I’m observing that’s who needs to hear this again):

We won in Iowa because of the unprecedented grassroots effort of our campaign.
Thousands of volunteers knocked on hundreds of thousands of doors in the cold and snow.
I want to thank each and every volunteer who participated in that effort.
I want to thank the people of Iowa for the very strong victory they gave us at the Iowa caucuses on Monday night.
Some 6,000 more Iowans came out to support us than any other candidate.
With eight strong candidates competing, that is a decisive margin of victory.
