Here's my article about fake elected Sen. Ruben Gallego spending his campaign funds on a Super Bowl suite, vacations for his family at Disneyland and other places, and $18k on childcare - including money to his mother-in-law to babysit. Former Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. wasn't clever enough to do the same exact thing, because he spent the money from his personal campaign, not a bogus "leadership PAC," so Jackson went to prison over it for a couple of years.

However, Gallego could still face ethics charges from the House of Representatives, which has stricter rules.

And his trip to the Super Bowl with disgraced former Rep. Eric Swallwell? That wasn't from a bogus leadership PAC, but from their joint PAC.

Gallego, his wife and Swallwell went to the Super Bowl 2023. Their Swallego PAC spent $34,700 on the tickets and $2,715 at The Henry restaurant. Gallego contended that it was a fundraising event.

Politico interviewed someone knowledgeable about the subject. “He just spends his campaign account like it’s his personal slush fund,” said the person. “He’s using campaign cash to live a luxury lifestyle.”
