People understand the concept of AI psychosis but seem unaware the same process was taking place manually for decades.
Someone with issues goes on tumblr or tiktok and encounters a "community" of people who gaslight them about how correct they are, obsess unhealthily over minor problems and encourage anti-social behaviour.
People have learned a few psychological buzzwords on social media, like "gaslighting," "narcissist," "boundaries," and "toxic", and now they use them to run away from normal human conflict. Sometimes your partner isn't a "toxic narcissist violating your boundaries"; sometimes they are just annoyed, having a bad day, and you are actually the one who was wrong. We have weaponized therapy language to ensure we never have to apologize or compromise.
It's funny how I and many others abuse our bodies while gaming. Snacks, sodas, fast food and barely any physical activity.
Today im older but in way better shape, more energy and most importantly more positive while gaming because of it.
Wish I felt like this during my peak!
Just a tip to all current players, please do some sort of physical activity it will make u better in every aspect.
(I usually don't do selfies so this is rare. Basically just took it to see the difference from a while back.)
Too many men think discipline is lifting weights. That’s easy. Real discipline is mastering lust, greed, anger, ego, knowing when to speak and when to stfu. It’s operating with honor and integrity. Going to the gym is ABC. Stop inverting and reducing everything to cavemanism.
My brother, who’s a psychologist, always tells me I get on unusually well with men because I have what Jung would call a well-integrated animus, the masculine aspect of the female psyche. In practice, that looks like effortless banter, sharp humour, and meeting men on their terrain without losing any of my own. But the same goes for men: without some integration of the feminine-their inner anima-there’s no softness, no nuance, no emotional intelligence. Just rigidity and suffering. You need both energies to be human, never mind likeable.

Transitioning into Coach/Analyst
After much reflection, I’ve made the decision to step away from my career as a player. Unfortunately, my ongoing hand and wrist issues have worsened, making it increasingly difficult to put in the hours in game needed to reach a higher level.
Even great beginnings must have an end 🤝💙
This will be a long post so I fully accept being ‘Keanu-Reeves-Cyberpunk-meme’d in the replies.
Some 13+ years ago I started my streaming journey. I’ve had the fortune of growing together with Twitch as I was in the first batch of channels to get partnered dating back to Feb, 2012. Twitch and the streaming space looked a lot different back then.
I had my biggest channel growth spurt around Call of Duty. With the launch of MW3 where both the Youtube and Twitch channels grew together. With our ‘rivalry’ with TBNRfrags, the content kind of wrote itself. When two people are trying to be the best it creates incredible competition and ingenuity. He would one-up me; I would do it back to him. 100 MOAB streams. 200 MOAB streams. Crazy challenges every single day. Once I left the CoD bubble, we had many more arcs. CSGO. Cube World. Fortnite. H1Z1. VALORANT. Tarkov. There are a million other games in-between but these stand out in my mind.
Now with all this pre-context ‘Old man talking about the past’-part out of the way let me get to the ultimate point: I will be retiring from streaming completely at the end of the year. It’s a decision I don’t take lightly as it’s been my job and identity for the past 13 years. With that said, I feel like I’ve accomplished what I wanted to accomplish, and I yearn for more learning and growing. I also have a massive change career-wise happening in early 2025 that I want to be 100% ready for. I’m so incredible happy and satisfied with how things have gone, and I have this newfound peace of mind that all steps have led me to this point 🙏
Streaming for this long comes with some interesting stuff. Some people watched my content through most of their school years. Some are as old or older than me (I know it’s hard to believe). Think about who you were as a person 10+ years ago and how much you have changed in that period. Now multiply it with everyone in the community. Some of these people are still around to this day 🤯
I want to thank everyone who has enjoyed my content in whatever phase of my streaming career. You have given me an opportunity that I will never forget and badass stories for me to reminisce about when I’m old(er) 👴
If you have a moment here in the days leading up to NYE, stop by the stream and say hi as we’re counting down to retirement that will conclude on Dec 30th. Hope to see you in there 💙🤝
