@chinookag Overall I think it grows pretty good crops. Like every drill, rain after seeding can make you look good (or not).
I’m curious if Deere keeps making them or if they go with seedmaster as their 2 shank system going forward.

I hope the provincial grower associations recalibrate their contributions to @canolacouncil. I would not support similar or larger funding in the future for declining services and programs. The agronomy team was valuable to my farm and industry agronomists.

My eyes were scratchy from low humidity, filling the drill, and generally dusty conditions. Success! I found eyedrops in the armrest. Hmm-it expired in Sept 2016. How many freeze-thaw cycles has it been through? But my eyes are REALLY scratchy…

I was saddened to learn of the passing of Dr Jim Robertson. The first two Soil Science courses I took 53 yrs ago at the U of A were from Jim. He was an extraordinary professor! His influence changed my career directions! He was a pioneer in the field of Soil Science in Alberta.
