@northernassist Twice in two nights 8pm train from Scarborough to Hull cancelled. Last night at 7:54 and tonight at 7:45. Not really a good enough service at the moment for key workers to rely on when on 12hour shifts.
@northernassist Whilst I appreciate that the ticket is valid for the later train, it makes it over 15 hours from leaving to go to work to getting back home. And that would have been two days running in the space of 4 x12 shifts in care so not ideal.
@twinklresources Yep! I currently have 14/34 children in my class where I taught 1 or both parents. Year 27 at my current school. Last job advertised had an ex pupil apply.
@TeacherTapp laughed at this one. My class % at less than 65% as they have never had chicken pox as were N, Rec or y1 in covid so 12 off last week and they have started again with last few who have never had it. At least they should be better for Christmas.
@BBCRadio4 Listening to cost of doctors to cover strikes. This is nothing new. To get cover trusts can go to framework for staff - fixed costs but can also go off framework - charging whatever they want. My OH said NHS was being ripped off all the time. 3 or 4 times wages.
SATs play a key role in helping to identify pupilsโ strengths or where they may have fallen behind as they head to secondary school.
Here's everything parents need to know about SATs, including how we develop the tests and why they're important โฌ๏ธ

@TeacherTapp Even worse in small schools. I have maths, computing, DT, STEM, PHSE and RSE, Data and tracking. Get 1 Monday in 4 this year - if HLTA not needed else where and will be less next year. No wonder teachers are breaking. ๐ฅน๐ฅน๐ฅน
