in basically every superman show there’s a peculiarly platonic scene of lex and lois bonding over clark usually when clark is dead and it’s always extremely emotionally loaded and extremely gay
an adaptation is exciting in that it's about someone reinterpreting a story in a different medium. kind of like omg two cakes. but nonetheless i feel wary about books these days always being translated into visual mediums, which tend to be easier and quicker to digest
trying to find the right words to explain why i don't always like the attitude of being super insistent about things having an Adaptation but i just got off work and my brain is mush... something something it's always about books/non-time-based media not being Enough
