🇳🇬EXPRESSION OF INTEREST IN A GOVERNMENT APPOINTMENT TO SUPPORT REAL ESTATE REGULATION IN ABUJA
To the Federal Government of Nigeria and the FCT Administration,
As a real estate professional operating in Abuja, I wish to formally express my interest in being considered for an appointment in any existing or future government initiative, committee, task force, or regulatory body responsible for real estate market oversight, rental monitoring, property valuation, and pricing transparency within the Federal Capital Territory.
I believe Abuja’s real estate sector has significant potential for improvement through better market data, transparent pricing practices, responsible oversight, and policies that consider the interests of landlords, tenants, investors, and other stakeholders.
Having developed a strong interest in Abuja’s property market, I would welcome the opportunity to contribute my industry experience, practical knowledge, and professional insight to any relevant government initiative established to address these issues.
I am not only expressing an interest in contributing to this cause; I am also formally making myself available for consideration for an appropriate official appointment or professional engagement within this sector.
Should the government establish a real estate regulatory task force, rental monitoring unit, property valuation committee, or any related institution, I would be interested in being considered for a suitable position where my experience and capabilities could add value.
I am prepared to work with the relevant authorities, take on responsibility, and contribute meaningfully to the development of a more transparent, accountable, and professionally organised real estate market in Abuja.
I believe that professionals who understand the realities of the market should have opportunities to participate in shaping its future through the appropriate legal and institutional frameworks.
This is my public expression of interest, and I hope the relevant authorities will consider my willingness to serve should a suitable opportunity arise.
I am ready to contribute my expertise, accept responsibility, and serve in an appropriate appointed capacity.
Abuja deserves a real estate sector built on transparency, accountability, and sustainable growth.

ABUJA LANDLORDS & REAL ESTATE INVESTORS, PAY ATTENTION!
Abuja is booming and rental housing offers a golden opportunity for savvy investors. If you own land or an existing building consider developing 1bedroom, 2bedroom and 3bedroom apartments to meet the growing rental demand.
However, location, construction costs, rental demand and expected returns should all guide your investment decisions. Don’t just build, build what the market truly needs!
At https://t.co/ksl6RDtnia, we assist landlords and developers in marketing their apartments and connecting with potential tenants.
📩 If you own property in Abuja, let’s transform it into a lucrative income-generating asset!
Dear Abuja Landlords,
Our role as your real estate partner is straightforward: to help you achieve the best possible return on your property.
At Renting Abuja, we don’t simply find tenants; we strategically market your property to attract qualified renters with the financial capacity, credibility and stability to rent and renew your property.
Maximising rental value is crucial for rental properties but securing the right tenant is equally important.
That’s where we excel.
We assist property owners and managers with:
- Professional property marketing
- Maximising rental value
- Finding qualified tenants
- Tenant screening and placement
- Long-term tenant retention
- Professional property management support
If you’re a landlord or property manager in Abuja with a property you’d like to rent lease or professionally manage, please send us a DM.
Let’s discuss how we can position your property for the right market and secure the best possible outcome.
Renting Abuja – Connecting quality properties with quality tenants.
Learning to genuinely be happy for others is a skill that requires intentional cultivation. Celebrate those around you: be happy for your loved ones’ wins, thank God for their testimonies and celebrate their achievements, even if they’re still your prayers coming true, without letting comparison steal your joy. Remember, not every win has to be yours for you to be happy. Someone else’s success doesn’t diminish your own. Their blessing is not your loss. We need to train our minds to genuinely celebrate people not for what we want in return but because we love them and are grateful to see them succeed. Learn to clap for others until it’s your turn to be celebrated. ❤️
I’ve realised gratitude benefits you more than the person you’re thankful to. Even small acts of kindness deserve a thank you. Never feel entitled; remember no one owes you anything. Even advice is a gift, so appreciate it deeply. Cultivating gratitude naturally makes people more willing to support you again.
DEAR @NIESVABUJA and @ESVARBON THIS IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO SHOW THE AVERAGE REALTOR THAT THEIR RIGHTS MATTER.
I have deliberately chosen to bring this matter to the attention of the relevant professional bodies because the person involved is a member/registered professional within the industry.
I am not asking anyone to take sides.
I am asking you to investigate the matter.
I have presented my complaint, I have explained the circumstances, and I have supporting evidence. What I am looking for now is a clear response and a transparent process for resolving the issue.
If your organisations exist to promote professionalism, ethical conduct and public confidence in the real estate profession, then surely this is an opportunity to demonstrate those principles in practice.
I have been redirected from one person to another, received calls and assurances, but I still don’t have a resolution.
And let me make something clear:
I did not make my original post because I wanted attention. I made it because I wanted results.
This is now bigger than just my dispute with Mr. Oyemade.
It is about what happens when an ordinary real estate practitioner or member of the public comes forward with a genuine complaint against a professional.
Will the complaint be properly investigated?
Will both sides be heard?
Will the member be asked to account for his actions?
Will the complainant be given a clear explanation of the outcome?
That is what I want to know.
I am therefore respectfully asking NIESV and ESVARBON to treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves and communicate clearly on the steps being taken.
I am not asking for special treatment.
I am asking for due process, accountability and an opportunity for the facts to be established.
If my claim is wrong, let the evidence establish that.
If I am right, then let the appropriate process establish that too.
This is an opportunity to show the average realtor that professional standards and accountability are not just words on a website.
I am waiting for answers.
Mr Oyemade pay me my money, I need money now, so just pay me else you will get more popular cus this is just the beginning. @NIESV and @ESVARBON, this man publicly identified with your organisation so pls investigate this so I don’t keep tagging you both in this cus I am not going to stop.
Pay me my 5% mr Oyemade, an estate surveyor and member of @NIESV and @ESVARBON, this is exactly six months since my client paid through you for a property you manage at lifecamp since then you stopped taking my calls and now you client you don’t know me anymore 😭 pay me my money, @niesv and esvarbon I need you to investigate this and get me my money from your member. I don’t want to believe this is how you train your members to behave or treat non members I need my pay
I don’t know much about stock investing, and maybe that’s exactly why I’m not rushing into the Dangote IPO.
The hype around it has been massive.
But I’ve learned one thing about investing: never confuse hype with value.
Dangote Refinery is undoubtedly an incredible business. It is a massive industrial project, it is generating serious revenue, and the company has ambitious plans to expand.
But a great company does not automatically mean a great investment.
The refinery is being offered at ₦525 per share, implying a valuation of roughly ₦65 trillion. Yet the public is only being offered about 3.3% of the company.
So before Nigerians rush to buy because “it’s Dangote,” I think we should ask a much more important question:
At ₦525, what exactly are we buying, and what are we realistically expecting to make from it?
I also don’t believe that because something is being marketed as “the people’s IPO,” it automatically becomes a good investment for the people.
Dangote is a businessman. His job is to build businesses, make profits and create wealth for his shareholders.
Our job as investors is to protect our own money.
And this is where I disagree with the mentality of rushing into an investment simply because everybody else is doing it.
I’m not saying the Dangote IPO is a scam.
I’m not saying Dangote Refinery is a bad company.
And I’m certainly not saying the shares cannot appreciate.
I’m saying don’t buy an investment because of the billionaire behind it. Buy it because you’ve studied the business, the valuation, the risks and the potential return.
Because when the hype disappears, it is your money sitting inside that investment — not Dangote’s.
Never invest because everybody is shouting. Invest because you understand what you’re buying.
As you retire, many people will regret prioritising a relaxed lifestyle over building wealth. While enjoying life is important, it’s crucial not to let today’s comforts compromise your future security. Consider investing in land, property and other assets. These investments can generate income even after your working days are over. Start investing now to secure your financial future. 🏡📈
