We’ve spent the past week talking about motivation with different groups—coaches, athletes, and leaders.
A common theme kept coming up: Do we really understand what drives student-athletes?
Here’s a thread on what we found in our research.
Tonight I want to say thank you to everyone who helped me! From filling the Gator up with gas to football coaches and players helping with my gear to the volleyball ball coolers magically in my room. I felt the Waverly family tonight! @145activities@WaverlyFootbal1@VikesVB
Although it wasn't the outcome we were wanting I enjoyed watching the @WaverlyBase_V team play with heart and have fun these last two days at Districts.
The NSATA is doing a shoe drive. If you are cleaning out your closet for the Spring and have some gently worn shoes that you would like to donate drop them by the athletic training room at Waverly High School or I can arrange a time to pic them up! @NSATA@145activities
Tune in to a Panel Discussion hosted by the NSATA Career Advancement Committee on navigating and exploring your way through the athletic training career and taking on leadership roles!

Before drinking another eneegy drink you must listen to this. I never want to have to give CPR, but especially to one of my athletes. https://t.co/PhkQJsmb90
Today the Waverly baseball team made me feel incredibly special. It was an honor to throw out the first pitch of the game and then receive a signed ball by the team. Thank you for making an athletic trainer feel loved. @WaverlyBase_V#NATM
