Every time I visit Little Rock Air Force Base, I come away impressed by the Airmen who serve there and the pride they take in their mission. That same dedication can be found in Airmen around the world. Whether delivering critical cargo from a C-130, providing air support to troops on the ground, or flying halfway around the world to strike a target, their skill, precision, and resolve have made our Air Force the most dominant in the history of the world.

To our Airmen in Arkansas and around the globe, thank you for your service and sacrifice.

Russia's war against Ukraine is the largest land war in Europe since World War Il, and it must come to an end.

It is time to send a clear and unmistakable message directly to the Kremlin: End your war of aggression. Get out of Ukraine.

That is why I voted for the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act of 2026 sanctions bill, that's why I have called on the administration to implement my REPO Act, and that's why I am calling on House leadership to bring Rep. Zach Nunn's bipartisan PEACE Act to the House floor for a vote.

Scipio A. Jones was a pivotal figure in American history, advancing civil rights with his landmark victory in Moore v. Dempsey. In defending the Elaine Twelve, Scipio Jones set a precedent that would be used in cases like Brown v. Board of Education, which notably led to the Little Rock Nine and the integration of schools across America.

I testified before the House Natural Resources Committee on my Scipio Jones House Assessment Act earlier this week. My bill directs the Department of the Interior to study the feasibility of including his historic Little Rock home in the National Park System while maintaining local control.

Preserving Scipio Jones’s house will help ensure future generations can learn about his remarkable legacy and Arkansas’s important place in our nation’s civil rights history.

239 years ago today, our Constitution was signed, establishing the framework that protects our freedoms and keeps our nation strong.

Of course, I may be a little biased, but there is a reason Article I comes first.

And yes, I have carried the same pocket Constitution on me throughout my time in Congress... you never know when it might come in handy.

"This bill says HUD should do what it can, where it can, under its current authorities to help its clients fulfill their obligations so they can stay housed and their landlords can be fully paid for the service they provide. I don't see that as a bad outcome, and I think that's why we should always look for ways to connect individuals in need with the existing resources that government is supposed to be providing to help address those needs. H.R. 5889 is a step in a positive direction."

Companies can already sell these products today. That's not changing. This bill simply streamlines the registration process so that everyday investors receive, in my view, more clear, tailored, and accessible information directly related to the decision they need to take on considering one of these products."

Kevin’s portrait represents years of service, hard-fought victories, difficult days, and friendships strengthened along the way.

As future visitors to our Capitol walk these halls and see Kevin’s portrait hanging alongside those who came before him, may it serve as both a reminder of those who have led this institution and a testament to the enduring strength of our Republic.

"We believe that we must get this right because as you said, it has gone on for years and we want to do that with a combination of potentially raising the thresholds and also giving credit to institutions for the duration that they have known their clients. So, we are in the midst of this, and, as always, we will be looking after our smaller financial institutions — small banks and community banks — to obviate any excess expense [and] that they are doing it while maintaining the safety and soundness of our financial system."
