“It’s insane, we have a rogue US military contractor handling our most sensitive data. Palantir has a contract running our nuclear missile program. We have no national security.”
Palantir. IT'S WORSE Than You Think @carolecadwalla
A toothpaste company has quietly killed the entire market research industry and nobody is talking about it.
Colgate published a paper showing you can predict real purchase intent at 90% accuracy by simply asking LLMs to roleplay customers.
And this is beyond insane.
If you ask an AI, "Rate this product from 1 to 5," it gives safe, middle-of-the-road garbage.
So researchers invented a method called Semantic Similarity Rating (SSR).
Instead of asking the AI for a number, they asked it to roleplay.
They gave the LLM a demographic profile. They showed it a product concept. And they asked it to write down its raw, unfiltered thoughts.
Then, they used a semantic model to translate those written thoughts into a numerical score.
The results are staggering.
Tested against 57 real corporate surveys and 9,300 actual human responses, the synthetic AI consumers matched real human buying behavior with 90% reliability.
They perfectly mirrored how different age brackets and income levels react to price changes.
And they provided detailed, qualitative feedback that was deeper and more critical than what actual humans wrote.
This destroys the economics of traditional market research.
You don't need to wait a month to see if a product will sell.
You can simulate 1,000 hyper-targeted customer interviews overnight.
You can A/B test pricing across every demographic instantly.
With all the corruption flooding out of this administration, you may have missed this one.
The Trump DOJ just killed a criminal investigation into the coal empire owned by Senator Jim Justice, a Republican and one of Trump’s closest allies.
Prosecutors and EPA investigators were probing whether his family’s mining companies criminally violated the Clean Water Act after racking up tens of thousands of alleged pollution violations over the past decade. The arsenic and other dangerous chemicals coal mines leach into our water are exactly what these laws exist to stop.
Career prosecutors believed they had a strong case.
They had begun gathering evidence and issuing subpoenas. Then the Deputy Attorney General’s office, run at the time by Todd Blanche, told them “pencils down.” A former prosecutor of 24 years said he had never heard of a criminal probe being shut down like this. There should be no untouchables list.
This is the pattern, plain as day.
Go after the President’s enemies, protect his friends. And now Trump wants to make Blanche his permanent Attorney General.
The man who shut this down should not be running the Justice Department. For this and so many other reasons, Todd Blanche must not be confirmed.

He is bailing out Sam Altman. OpenAI cant IPO because they are massively in debt and dont make any money so Altman runs to the White House begging for a bailout and magically 3 days later we get this.
This is the TARP bailouts all over again lol
How "rich" did we get after '08
@TaraSetmayer@LaJuliciousOne Does grok make child porn? I thought some users created sexualized images of minors but that safeguards were added to prevent that going forward. The message on the art piece seems to imply an ongoing problem.
The reason is quite hilarious 😂😂.
Microsoft put $50 billion into Anthropic.
FIFTY billion dollars.
they are a Project Glasswing partner. Fable 5 runs inside Azure. Microsoft sells Claude to its own enterprise customers through Microsoft 365 and GitHub Copilot.
and they won't let their own employees use it.
here's why.
under Anthropic's new Mythos-class data retention policy, every prompt you type and every response you get is stored for 30 days. automatically. no opt out.
if their safety classifiers flag anything in your session, anything, they keep it for up to two years.
you don't get told when that happens, what was flagged or who can see it.
Microsoft employees paste confidential contracts into these things. customer data. internal roadmaps. acquisition strategies. legal documents. source code.
all of it sitting on Anthropic's servers for 30 days minimum. flagged sessions for two years.
so the company that invested $50 billion looked at that policy and told its staff: actually hold on.
other Claude models still work internally. under Zero Data Retention rules. the normal ones are fine.
just not the most powerful one they helped fund.
and one more thing.
the Pentagon listed Anthropic as a supply chain risk in March and banned defense contractors from using its products.
Microsoft funds Anthropic. sells Anthropic's models. runs them on Azure. helped build the most powerful one.
won't let employees use it.
the Pentagon won't let defense contractors near it.
the safeguard that makes Fable 5 safe enough to release publicly is the same safeguard that lets Anthropic keep your data for two years.
the guardrail is a data retention policy.
but you can use it. it's in your browser right now. 🌚
have fun.
OpenAI valuation: $852 billion. never turned a profit.
Anthropic valuation: $965 billion. never turned a profit.
both filed for IPOs this week.
now OpenAI wants to cut prices.
a company that has never turned a profit wants to cut prices to compete with a company that has never turned a profit. right before both of them ask the public to buy their stock.
Uber already said they maxed out their entire 2026 AI budget. another executive said it was hard to connect AI spending to anything customers could actually see.
nobody is buying more. enterprises are hitting ceilings. the market is softening.
so they cut prices not because AI got cheaper.
but because the IPO roadshow starts next quarter and they need the user numbers to look good for IPO slide.
IYKYK.
CNN's resident fact-checker Daniel Dale hasn't conducted an on-air fact check of Trump in more than three months, a stretch that coincidentally began around the same time Paramount announced its merger with WBD

Scientists at Trump’s EPA say they are being told to make chemical risks “disappear on paper.” Not to study or manage them, but to make them vanish.
When a safety test on a household chemical shows danger, supervisors reportedly ask to keep shrinking the scenario until the poison looks safe.
They have reassigned senior scientists to paperwork and handed life-and-death risk assessments to staff with less experience. They have installed former chemical industry lobbyists to run the very offices that are supposed to regulate the chemical industry.
A gift to industry, paid for with your family’s health.
They are even throwing out research on how certain chemicals hit certain communities harder, calling decades of established science “DEI.”
You can make risk disappear on paper.
The cancer does not disappear.
The birth defects do not disappear.
The infertility does not disappear.
The kids drinking the water and getting sick do not disappear.
The EPA exists to protect people, not to protect the profit margins of the people poisoning them.
Every American deserves to know what is happening. #TrumpMakesUsSick

BREAKING📷 A woman donated $1 million to Trump's super PAC. Three weeks later, her son a convicted tax criminal was pardoned. His pardon application literally mentioned her donation.
Her name is Elizabeth Fago. Her son, Paul Walczak, had pleaded guilty to federal tax crimes. The pardon application filed on his behalf explicitly cited his mother's million-dollar donation to MAGA Inc. as a reason he deserved clemency. Trump signed the pardon. Walczak walked free and was relieved of more than $4 million in restitution he owed.
That is one entry on a donor list of 58 people who gave a million dollars or more.
MAGA Inc., Trump's super PAC, has now raised over $305 million since the 2024 election five times more than any presidential super PAC in history at this stage. The Brennan Center called it "completely unprecedented." Ninety-six percent of it came from donors giving $1 million or more. Sixty-two percent from those giving $5 million or more. This is not a grassroots operation. It is a pay-window.
Here's what the donor list actually shows.
https://t.co/s5GJV5zpIa's parent company, Foris Dax, gave $30 million — while it was under SEC investigation for allegedly trading unregistered securities. The SEC investigation was quietly dropped in March 2025, two months after the donation.
The Winklevoss twins gave $1 million — also while their crypto platform Gemini was under SEC investigation. That investigation was dropped in February 2025.
Energy Transfer, the Texas pipeline company, and its CEO Kelcy Warren gave a combined $25 million — while Energy Transfer was actively suing a federal regulatory agency in court.
OpenAI President Greg Brockman and his wife gave $25 million — as the Trump administration was actively shaping AI policy in Silicon Valley's favor.
Then there are the appointments. Benjamin Landa gave $5 million then became Trump's ambassador to Hungary. Kelly Loeffler and her husband gave $5 million she now runs the Small Business Administration. Warren Stephens gave $2 million now ambassador to the United Kingdom. Jared Isaacman gave $2 million now NASA administrator.
And Isabela Herrera, a 25-year-old self-employed financial consultant whose only prior political donation was $20 to Pete Buttigieg in 2020, somehow contributed $3.5 million to MAGA Inc. Her father a Venezuelan billionaire facing federal bribery charges was pardoned by Trump in January 2026. Campaign Legal Center has filed a formal complaint with the FEC alleging she was a straw donor for her father.
This is not dark money. This is public record.
Every dollar, every favor, every pardon. Filed with the FEC. Sitting in plain sight.

Mike Johnson says Republicans have a plan to cut Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid—after already passing the largest healthcare cut in history.
Higher costs, less healthcare.
That’s what Republicans are running on this November.
🚨NOW: Rep. Thomas Massie just stood on the House floor and named what every politician in DC has spent 58 years pretending did not happen
The USS Liberty. June 8, 1967.
34 dead American sailors. 174 wounded. Over 70% casualty rate on a virtually unarmed US ship.
25 minutes of Israeli jets, Israeli rockets, Israeli 30mm cannon fire, and ISRAELI NAPALM ON THE BRIDGE. Then Israeli torpedoes. Then Israel machine-gunned the lifeboats.
MASSIE: "They were intent on leaving no survivor."
Then the part nobody wants you to think about: the Saratoga and the America launched planes to help. The planes were RECALLED. The crew sat there bleeding for 17 hours.
Dean Rusk. Richard Helms. Admiral Moaner. The chief counsel of the Court of Inquiry himself. None of them believed the "mistaken identity" story.
And now you understand exactly why the entire DC machine and Israel lobby has spent the last year trying to primary this man out of existence.
You are not allowed to say the quiet part. He said it anyway.
Honor the crew. https://t.co/XuDLeFF4gJ.
@HostGator And because you’re putting resources into these “recent offerings in tech” as you say, you’re probably pulling them from your best team. Your live phone support is top notch, but I had over a 60-minute queue last night.
@HostGator Your support chain is abysmal. It was better when chatbot recommended FAQs before passing to a live agent. Now LLM engages in conversational instructions — and instructions are often wrong. Also, the human chat group is not as good as the phone group — not even close.
@HostGator It’s not that one size doesn’t fit all. It’s that live chat was terrible. No reply for 6-8 minutes at a time. I wasn’t asked to stand by while they researched. They repeatedly suggested an illogical solution. And your AI bot is not ready for prime time. Gives bad advice!!!
