State @RepAndraca called the now-failed budget surplus bill a "turducken," saying that's "because it’s a turkey that was put together by a bunch of lame ducks."
TURDUCKEN:
“This proposal is a turducken, because it is a turkey, that was put together by a bunch of lame ducks by a Republican legislature that is too chicken to confront the structural affordability…” says @RepAndraca during Wisconsin tax rebate/school funding debate.

Looking back on last week’s floor session, I am immensely proud of all that we did to pass Gail’s Law and postpartum medicaid expansion. Years of persistent advocacy resulted in securing these wins for women and families.

Wisconsin Assembly Democrats tried to take steps to pull a bill out of committee today that would expand postpartum Medicaid coverage for a year after a child is born, but Republicans blocked it.

Today, we remember all those who lost their lives in the attacks on 9/11, their families, loved ones, and survivors, including the countless brave first responders, volunteers, and neighbors who ran towards danger.
We will never forget.
Violence against anyone because of their political beliefs is wrong.
Violence against others is wrong.
Violence is never the answer for resolving our differences or disagreements.

@Robin_Vos_Stan Me at the 10th Anniversary Vigil at the Oak Creek Sikh Temple. I support prayers of all faiths. I also believe the faithful deserve meaningful action from their elected leaders to help prevent mass shootings.
