Thank you to @MassGovernor, Secretary Yvonne Hao @MassEOED, @RepKenGordon, and Burlington Town Administrator Paul Sagarino for joining us on opening day – as well as to the numerous local and state officials who joined us in celebrating. It is an honor to have your support! (2/2)
Cleaner, safer water is on it’s way to Burlington!🚰
It’s been a long time coming, but awesome to finally celebrate the opening of the MWRA Connection. A fantastic example of the power of government partnerships!
Thank you Rep. @mciccolo, @RepKenGordon, and our members from Lexington and Bedford who came out on a hot & humid day to discuss key issues currently before the state legislature
3/ Recently on @bcattv 's Rappin' With the Rep we invited Revere Mayor Arrigo and Dr. Maritza Barros, its Chief of Talent and Culture, to talk about how to discuss and address acts of hate in our community. It is worth a revisit. https://t.co/uZNxpwzIhv
1/3 I stand with the students of the Spectrum Club and against instance of hate in our community. The children of MSMS, and in fact all of our residents, deserve a welcoming community that reflects the values of the vast majority of the people of Burlington.
2/3 We must immediately reinstate an advisory committee made up of people who have been traditionally marginalized because of their race, religion, who they love and more. We need access to experts to help our leaders respond when incidents occur. The time to act is right now.
Continuing with #ShopAAPIMonth. Today I visited Akita Ramen in #Andover with @RepKGordon. The chicken karaage & ramen were delicious! Chair Gordon & I both practiced employment law and this session, we have a bill to increase unemployment benefits for low-wage workers.
I'm proud to share that I joined my colleagues in the House to pass the FY24 Budget proposal that includes funding for Bedford, Burlington, and Precinct 6 in Lexington. Thank you to
@RonMariano and House Ways and Means Chair @RepMichlewitz
So glad to be included in Lexington's #Patriotsday morning reenactment of the first battle of the Revolutionary War, the early parade and the White Tri-Corner Hat ceremony that named my friend Bob Burbidge what is essentially its Citizen of the Year. Well deserved!
